Stephanie Manasseh is a Canadian-born art advisor, curator, and entrepreneur celebrated for her transformative contributions to the global art world. Splitting her time between Brussels, Belgium, and the Berkshires, Massachusetts, Manasseh is the co-founder of Berkshire House and serves as Director at Jonathan Prince Studio, where her leadership drives innovative artistic and creative ventures.
Born in Montreal, Manasseh earned her degree from McGill University before advancing her education at Sotheby's Institute and Goldsmiths in London. With fluency in four languages and an international perspective, she has become a sought-after figure in the art world, seamlessly bridging cultures and markets.
In 2006, she founded SM Art Advisory, offering bespoke guidance to private collectors, corporate clients, and art fairs. Her advisory work reflects a deep understanding of market trends and a passion for crafting tailored aesthetic experiences. That same year, Manasseh launched the Accessible Art Fair (ACAF), a groundbreaking initiative that provided unaffiliated artists with opportunities to exhibit and sell their work in high-end art fair settings. Over its 16-year run, the ACAF expanded to major global cities, revolutionizing how emerging artists connect with collectors and audiences.
Manasseh's curatorial achievements include her role as curator of the Sol LeWitt exhibition at the Jewish Museum of Belgium in 2021 and as advisor to the Jewish Museum of Amsterdam's 2023 LeWitt exhibition. Her collaboration with the LeWitt family also resulted in the installation of a Sol LeWitt Wall Drawing at Berkshire House, exemplifying her ability to merge historical and contemporary art in innovative ways.
Since 2020, as Director of Jonathan Prince Studio, Manasseh has overseen the studio's creative and strategic growth. Her meticulous eye for detail, leadership skills, and dedication to excellence have ensured the studio's projects achieve both artistic and commercial success.
In addition to her artistic endeavors, Manasseh has cultivated professional collaborations with major international brands, including BMW, American Express, The New York Times, Montblanc, Tiffany, Alfa Romeo, and The Bicester Shopping Collection. Her work consistently reflects her ability to create meaningful partnerships that amplify the impact of art across industries.
At Berkshire House, Manasseh continues to innovate at the intersection of art, technology, and gastronomy, fostering a multidisciplinary creative hub in the Berkshire Mountains. This venture epitomizes her passion for creating dynamic spaces where art and innovation converge.
Today, Manasseh lives both in Brussels and The Berkshires with her husband Jonathan Prince and has two grown up daughters.
